Working with Moray Pathways, ABZWorks in Aberdeen City, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)/Jobcentre Plus, local businesses, community organisations and parent groups, Perfect Patter™ has been delivered in a variety of settings.

The full accredited Perfect Patter™ programme and Perfect Patter™ Lite are established programmes, supporting people at different stages of their personal and professional journeys.

Perfect Patter™ Lite has also been delivered specifically for DWP work coaches and local authority employability key workers, giving professionals who support others the opportunity to experience the programme for themselves.

Perfect Patter™ has been delivered in Elgin, Forres, Buckie, Keith, Inverness and Aberdeen, as well as with businesses across Moray.

Perfect Patter™ has also provided individual coaching and mentorship to people from a wonderfully diverse range of backgrounds, including the creative industries, education, business, agriculture, retail, hospitality and healthcare, including the NHS.

Participants completing the full Perfect Patter™ programme have achieved excellent results in the externally assessed RSL Grade 6 Public Speaking Award.

Perfect Patter™ for Parents is just about to launch in Angus, working alongside Angus Council’s Skills & Employability Team and local partners.

Further opportunities are developing in the Highlands.

Perfect Patter™ Spark is a new concept in development for 2027, designed to help people make those important first connections before taking the next steps towards building confidence.

One word appears time and again in the feedback from people who have experienced Perfect Patter™.

And what’s particularly remarkable is how quickly people describe feeling a difference.

Sometimes, within the very first few hours, participants begin recognising strengths they had overlooked, remembering achievements they’d forgotten and discovering a confidence they didn’t realise they had.

They describe the sessions as inspiring, uplifting and encouraging. Some talk about believing in themselves again for the first time in years.

Another thanked Tish for polishing her like a diamond, explaining that she felt confident again and describing Tish as one of the women who inspired her.

Others have spoken about understanding their emotions and reactions differently.

One participant explained that they had finally realised being nervous didn’t mean they lacked confidence.

Another reflected on how the communication skills they’d developed could have helped them manage conflict in a previous job.

And one participant described having the confidence to return to work even on difficult days as “a game changer.”

Finding the Confidence to Begin Again

For some participants, simply walking through the door is an achievement.

One woman described how nervous she felt about attending her first course after more than a year out of work.

She wasn’t sure what to expect or whether she would manage.

But she found herself welcomed, encouraged and supported by Tish and the other participants.

By the end, she had rediscovered her ability to learn, retain information, support others and speak positively about herself.

She praised Tish’s ability to motivate people and bring even the most anxious and shy participants out of their shells.

One work coach initially attended for a day simply to understand the programme and encourage others to participate.

But after just a few hours, they described becoming more open with people, more comfortable sharing their experiences and more aware of the value everyone has to offer.

They explained that the experience had genuinely influenced the person they are today.

And that was after just one day.

They also praised Tish’s ability to deliver the programme, connect with people and help them recognise their own worth.
